Senior Bright Stars to participate in Friendly Tournament in Libya

The Board of Directors of the South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) has approved the participation of the senior Bright Stars men team in a friendly tournament in Libya during the upcoming FIFA break.

The Acting Secretary General of the South Sudan Football Association, (SSFA), Joseph Archangelo Apai, confirmed to SSD Sport's on Time in Juba, on Saturday, 8th January 2022.

"Our national senior team for men will be traveling to Libya for a competition there. It is a friendly match organised by FIFA agent. It will comprise two teams from Asia and two teams from Africa, so, our board of directors approved the participation of the national team there." said Archangelo.

According to the acting secretary general, the friendly tournament will be conducted during the upcoming FIFA break between 29th of this month to 1st Feb, 2022. However, the agent is yet to reveal the names of the other participating national teams.
